Over OSHA Vaccine-or-Test Mandate for Businesses WILL sued the Biden administration in federal court, on behalf of two Wisconsin businesses, challenging the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) sweeping new vaccine-or-test mandate for businesses with 100 or more employees. OSHA’s emergency rule, issued November 4, requires businesses of a certain size to require proof of vaccination or regular COVID-19 tests for their employees. Read More Governor Evers Signs Public School Spending Transparency Bill into Law Governor Tony Evers signed public school spending transparency legislation (AB 378 / SB 373) into law, Friday, initiating a new process to shed more light on how public schools spend public dollars. WILL supported the bipartisan legislation to establish a commission of public-school representatives to determine how to collect and display the information online. Read More Kenosha Schools to Allow Parent to Observe Classroom After WILL Letter The Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) agreed to allow a parent to observe her son’s classroom after WILL issued a letter reminding the district of the requirements spelled out in federal law. WILL issued the letter to KUSD, last week, on behalf of a parent concerned that persistent classroom disruptions may be causing a drop in her son’s academic performance.
