Tell Congress:
"Pass the bipartisan ILLICIT CASH Act to stop the rich and powerful from using faceless shell companies to launder money, dodge taxes and threaten our national security."

John,
It’s time to ramp up the pressure on the U.S. Senate.
Last week, the U.S. House―for the first time in history―passed legislation to expose the owners of shell companies. These anonymous corporations are used by the wealthy to dodge taxes, by criminals to launder money and even by terrorists to jeopardize national security.
Experts consider this bill the single most important change Congress could make to better protect our financial system from abuse.
Write to your U.S. Senators today and tell them to pass the bipartisan ILLICIT CASH Act (S. 2563) to stop faceless elites, crooks and even terrorists, from using their anonymity to launder money and dodge taxes.
In the House, this bill was known as the Corporate Transparency Act (H.R. 2513). In the Senate, this bill, sponsored by Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) and cosponsored by three Democrats and four Republicans, will end a rigged system where anonymous U.S. corporations can hide the source of money and avoid paying their fair share in taxes. These shell companies can even pose a national security threat from terrorists.[1]
And because this bill is completely bipartisan, Mitch McConnell has no excuse not to bring it up for a vote.
Click here to send a letter to your U.S. Senators to pass the bipartisan ILLICIT CASH Act to hold the rich and powerful (and even criminal) to account.
Thank you for taking action today to demand a fair share tax system and a transparent financial system that benefits everyone, not just the wealthy few.
