Friday night, the House passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure bill.

John,

Late Friday night, the House passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework bill, sending it to President Biden’s desk to be signed into law.

This once-in-a-generation legislation will invest $1.2 trillion on rebuilding roads and expanding internet broadband access while creating millions of jobs along the way.

The infrastructure bill includes $550 billion in new money into transportation projects — from repairing bridges and improving internet access for rural communities and low-income families to expanding public transportation systems and passenger rail.

John, after months of diligent negotiations, Democrats showed that it’s possible to get the job done and pass relief that materially benefits working families.

But our work doesn’t stop here. We still need to pass the Build Back Better Act: a $1.75 trillion social spending package that includes the largest climate investment ever in addition to major investments into housing, health care, education, and the care economy.

Voters like you elected Democrats to lead boldly, and that’s exactly what we delivered with the infrastructure bill. John, help me make even more progress for working families by making a contribution to keep me in the fight for our shared values.
