While House Democrats passed the groundbreaking bipartisan infrastructure bill on Friday, we still need Congress to act to pass additional life-changing solutions with sweeping support from the American people like paid leave, child care, lower prescription drug prices, and so much more. 

That’s why we must set our sights on making sure they are passed to help families, seniors, and workers make ends meet and to make sure our economic recovery includes EVERYONE, not just Wall Street.

This is a huge step towards economic equality. Workers would no longer have to choose between putting food on the table and caring for their loved ones when they’re sick or being there for their children. Seniors would no longer struggle to pay for the lifesaving medication they need.

This is common sense. However, partisanship and gridlock in Congress, as well as corporate lobbying, are stalling the changes we need to make for working families.
