Friends,

Late Friday night, the House passed the Senate’s $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill, legislation that will rebuild our nation’s dilapidated infrastructure and catapult our underinvested and overlooked communities into the 21st-century economy.

It’s going to create millions of jobs upgrading our roads, tunnels, bridges, ports, railways, and public transit. It’s going to bring clean water, reliable power grids, and broadband internet to rural and poverty-stricken communities all over the country.

It’s the type of investment that our government has neglected to make for decades.

One that Donald Trump boasted only he could get done.

And President Biden is going to sign it into law.

But I’ll be the first to tell you that our work isn't finished. We told the American people that we would deliver on President Biden’s entire Build Back Better Agenda.

The bipartisan infrastructure bill only works if it’s paired with a strong reconciliation bill. One that invests in clean energy and green jobs. One that guarantees free pre-K and affordable childcare. Affordable housing and healthcare. Negotiating the cost of prescription drugs with the big pharmaceutical companies.

We will fulfill our commitment to improving the lives of Americans.

And then we need to go out and defend our progress at the ballot box next fall.

Democrats have passed the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan. The $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure deal. And soon, the Build Back Better Act, representing a once-in-a-generation investment in the American people.

Three historic bills. All in our first year back in the majority.

Can you imagine?

We don’t have a single seat to spare in the Senate if we’re going to keep it that way beyond the midterms.

Donate today to help me defend our Democratic Senate majority. We don’t have a single seat to spare in keeping Mitch McConnell from retaking power. And our work’s not done.

Early investments go a long way toward helping our campaign reach voters and tell the story of what Democrats are doing for the American people before the midterms.

The bipartisan infrastructure plan is a historic investment. But it’s just one piece of our bold agenda. Let’s not slow down now.

Our work’s not done.

Let’s keep going.
