Here’s the NRA CEO’s year in review Today is Wayne LaPierre’s 72nd birthday – so we wanted to celebrate and look back at his most notable moments of the past year at the helm of his “kingdom,” the NRA:
An investigation into LaPierre’s alleged defrauding of NRA donors and misuse of charitable funds began.
LaPierre was revealed to have sought safety on a private yacht following two of the most devastating mass shootings in our country’s history – those in Newton, CT and Parkland.
He led the NRA to be investigated for malfeasance by the NY Attorney General.
He helped the NRA rack up record level legal costs.
And most recently, his NRA elected a member of the anti-government militia, the Oath Keepers, who have engaged in armed vigilantism, to their Board of Directors.
No wonder he was reelected as executive vice president and CEO of the NRA last month.
John , we wanted to give Wayne LaPierre a special gift on his birthday, and we could only think of one thing – it’s a promise: We won’t stop fighting until we end the NRA and your deadly agenda once and for all.
We know that Wayne LaPierre and the NRA aren’t going to give up easily and we need your help to make this the last birthday that Wayne LaPierre celebrates as leader of the NRA: Will you help us celebrate Wayne’s birthday with a call to end his evil empire? Add your name to our petition now and call for the dissolution of the NRA. [[link removed]]

We've fought tooth and nail to defeat the NRA for decades, and we won’t stop fighting – we wouldn’t want to go back on our promise. Today feels like a great day to renew our call to dissolve the NRA. Happy Birthday, Wayne.
Thank you,
Kris Brown
