John,
If you give your kids an allowance of more than a few bucks a week, that $5 you spend is more than what over 50 major corporations paid in federal income tax last year. It’s math so simple I don’t need my whiteboard!
The super-wealthy and massive corporations have gotten away with cheating the system—and a recent report by the Treasury Department found that the top 1% are evading up to $163 billion per year in taxes.
Any kid can tell you that’s not fair (and any parent has had to listen to their kids complain about things far less egregious than this). Add your name if you agree: we need a more fair tax system.

To fix the problem, Congress needs to give the IRS the resources they need to crack down on the cheating. And we need to eliminate special interest loopholes and create a more fair tax system so taxpayers aren’t subsidizing billionaires and big corporations.
There’s lots of news out of Washington right now about how we’re going to pay for the programs in the Build Back Better Act, and I’ll keep fighting for them to be funded by taxes on the wealthiest and big corporations. You can show your support for a more fair tax system by signing my petition.

Thanks for your support, John, I’m so appreciative to have you in this fight!
