John, I want to update you on the historic action that Congress took on Friday to modernize American infrastructure and address the climate crisis — but first, I want to say thank you.

All of the progress that we’ve made this year has been possible because of your support.

From cutting taxes for middle class families through the expanded child tax credit to the comprehensive infrastructure package that we just passed, Democrats are fighting for you and your family. Thank you for standing with us.

This transformative infrastructure package will create millions of good-paying union jobs focused on repairing and modernizing our bridges, roads, and public transportation systems. It includes historic investments in electric vehicles, green infrastructure, and climate action and will improve high-speed internet access and affordability for every American.

In the survey that my team shared last month, addressing the climate crisis was the top choice for my supporters in South Florida — together, we’re going to get it done.

With this legislation now headed to President Biden’s desk, I’m looking forward to passing the rest of the Build Back Better agenda to uplift American families and seniors, make our economy work for all of us, and continue investing in bold, transformative climate action.

Our work is far from over, but I know that with you on this team we’ll get it done.
