Friend, How toxic are our clothes? Last week, we revealed how retailers rank on toxic chemicals in the clothing they sell. This week, we share how popular clothing brands rank on chemical use in our new Toxic Textiles Brands scorecard! We compared the efforts to address toxic chemicals in clothing by 10 leading US apparel companies, including adidas, Gap, Forever 21, and Carter's. The good news? Brands are making progress and showing that it is feasible to meet the demands of our campaign. BUT, more progress is needed! |
