As of today, Election Day is exactly one year out. In 2022, it’s no exaggeration to say that Michigan will be the most critical battleground in the country.

Just think of the urgent questions facing Michigan voters:

Will Gretchen Whitmer still be fighting for us in the Governor’s office? Will we have Attorney General Dana Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson to protect our rights and our freedom to vote?

Will Democrats still have a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives?

Friend, if we’re going to keep our state and our country moving forward, we have to get to work, right now, to win.

Extreme Republicans aren’t waiting around to get to work. Since Donald Trump lost in 2020, extremists in the Michigan GOP have worked overtime to spread conspiracy theories and take away our freedom to vote.

Recently we learned that groups linked to Betsy DeVos want to undermine a bipartisan redistricting process to keep radical Republicans in power.

Friend, we ignore these attacks on our democracy at our peril. I’m not waiting around to start fighting back, and I need your help.
