I am humbled by the trust you’ve placed in me to represent your interests and do what’s best for Edmonds.

I want to thank Edmonds for the trust you’ve placed in me to help lead our city. Its truly humbling to serve as your representative on the City Council.

In my message to my friends last Tuesday night, I emphasized a theme people have heard me talk about during the campaign, “Let’s move forward from here.” Our world has been held in the grip of a horrible pandemic, our nation has been through political and racial upheaval and our city struggles to reconcile our differences. At this time, we need to re-learn the lessons of community that begins with each of us bringing our best to serve our city. From a position of strength, we will make changes that are necessary for more equitable future for all of us.

I know that I am not without faults. Yet, I look forward to working with you to continue building a city we can be proud of. Your voice matters and I will keep bringing your concerns to the table for discussion.

For those who voted for my opponent, I want to hear your vision for what Edmonds should become. You will not be pushed aside. I want to work together with everyone who will lean into helping our city move forward.
