Hi John,

For the first time in United States history, wildlife crossings will have dedicated federal funding. This is a game-changer for wildlife.

Late Friday night, the United States Congress passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, including $350 million to reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions! Wildlands Network played a critical role in securing this funding, educating Congressional leaders to cultivate bipartisan support for wildlife crossings, and bringing together the collective wisdom of conservation partners with diverse expertise.
This is the incremental change that is needed to preserve a resilient natural world. Addressing the number one fragmenting force on the continent—our road system—is a critical piece of our commitment to stemming and reversing the loss of biodiversity across North America.

As the infrastructure bill moves towards President Biden's desk for signature, we look forward to bringing this funding to much-needed improvements in highways that will benefit a multitude of wildlife species. We're so grateful for your support on this journey!

For the wild,

Katie Davis

We need you, John!

Our projects depend on generous donations from folks like you. Will you give to sustain connected landscapes that promote climate-resilient communities for people and wildlife?

Thank you for supporting continental-scale conservation!
