Friends -- It's important to me that you know about the victories we're winning in our fight for fair maps. Here are just a few from the last couple of weeks (will you take a look and then chip in to keep the wins coming?):
In Colorado, the NDRC supported the creation of the Independent Congressional Redistricting Commission to put an end to gerrymandering. That commission just accomplished its goal by coming up with fair maps for Colorado's congressional districts, which were approved by the Supreme Court!

In Iowa, the state legislature also passed fair maps that were drawn by a nonpartisan agency. A.G. Holder said that "These maps ensure that Iowa will remain competitive for the next decade, and where Democrats can compete in a fair system they can win."
Friend, Colorado and Iowa are two states where the NDRC is supporting fair maps, and it's no exaggeration to say that we helped make this happen! Will you chip in for more fair maps in even more states?
Another victory that's worth pointing out: Oregon's governor recently signed equitable maps into law. Republicans didn't like this, so they sued -- something we expect they'll be doing quite a bit in the coming months. But the NDRC responded immediately by supporting the voters who are defending Oregon's fair maps in court!
Look, I know we share a lot of distressing news because the GOP is constantly trying to manipulate maps in states all over the country. But I believe it's important to acknowledge and celebrate our victories -- and of course, to keep them coming! That's why I'm asking you today: Will you pitch in to help us fight for, and WIN, more fair maps in more states?
