This was what USDA inspectors found over repeated visits to a cruel puppy breeder in Iowa.


Half a year and more than 190 recorded violations later, this breeder has finally lost his USDA license and surrendered the 500+ dogs on his properties. And thanks to caring people like you, we were able to help liberate them from this nightmare: to hold them, clean them, comfort them.

These lucky survivors of extreme neglect were rescued in the nick of time: as of last week, they’ve all been moved to safety. As we conduct essential forensics work to support an investigation into criminal charges against this breeder, we’re committed to being there for these dogs for as long as it takes.
