I talked about how we're working to invest in training programs that will prepare Pennsylvania’s workers for high-quality jobs in fast-growing sectors like public health, child care, manufacturing, IT and clean energy. Additionally, 20 public community colleges across our Commonwealth would have the opportunity to benefit from grants to develop and deliver innovative training programs and expand proven ones.
Northeastern Pennsylvania is the proud home of companies producing a wide range of things that make our country run, and they come here because our area’s working-class heritage makes the people who live here the hardest-working people around.
Passing this plan will help bring more people back into the labor force and into great jobs they can support a family on.
