I’m proud to have led bipartisan negotiations on this bill in the Senate with a group of my colleagues, and look forward to seeing it signed into law. And I’m excited to see these once-in-a-century investments in our country become a reality.

This legislation will improve our nation’s crumbling infrastructure — from our roads, bridges, and rails to our internet service and electrical grid. We’ll be taking urgently-needed action to lower costs for families, create more jobs, and rebuild our economy. This really could not be more important.

But our work’s not done. There’s a whole lot we still need to do — on climate change, on voting rights, on protecting our public lands — to keep this country moving forward.

And make no mistake: to do any of that work, we’re going to need a strong Democratic Senate majority.
