We stopped by Toledo today to support Teamsters Local 20 workers who are
on strike at the Stericycle medical disposal facility for healthcare
benefits and increased wages.
As the daughter of a teacher who was in a union, I know the importance of
having solidarity with your fellow workers.
A strong labor movement means a strong middle class, and now more than
ever we need to demand the healthcare benefits, wages, and workplace
protections we deserve in our jobs. As Senator, I’ll be the 51st YES vote
on the PRO act, which would greatly increase union power in Ohio.
If we flip this Senate seat blue, it will be a win for workers in Ohio and
across the nation. Thank you for being part of that team.
