In the wake of Terry Mcauliffe’s loss in Virginia, and Governor Phil Murphy’s closer than expected win in New Jersey, the media headlines have been tough. Like you, friend, we have been reading pronouncements of the “doomed” prospects of us holding Democratic majorities in 2022.

So now we have a choice. We can give in to the fatalism being advanced through many media outlets and let The 147 assume power in Congress. Or, we can take this as a sign that we need to work harder in our political outreach efforts, double down on our work, and continue fighting to prevent The 147’s takeover of our democracy.
