John,
What do ads for the unproven, unethical anti-abortion theory of “abortion pill reversal” and Ohio’s citizen-enforced total abortion ban have in common? Live Action.
The same extremists that are continuing to run misleading and dangerous anti-abortion ads on Facebook are also the inspiration for a total abortion ban that was recently proposed in the Ohio legislature. The ‘2363 Act,’ which would allow private citizens to sue anyone they believe has helped someone access an abortion in the state, was introduced by Ohio State Rep. Jena Powell, who spoke at the launch of Live Action’s ‘2363 Campaign.’ [1]
Live Action is also aligned with the Center for Medical Progress, which produced the deceptive and highly edited videos against Planned Parenthood that led to an uptick in clinic violence, including the November 2015 terrorist attack on a Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs, where the anti-abortion murderer proclaimed, "No more baby parts" after he terrorized the clinic in a 5-hour siege. [2]
Live Action says they’re “proud” to be working with Rep. Powell and others on these harmful abortion bans – and we’re proud to be working alongside you in the fight against this anti-abortion violence.
In safety and solidarity,
Kara Mailman

P.S. Live Action’s goal is for total abortion bans like the one they are backing in Ohio to spread throughout the U.S. – and our goal is to stop them. Give today to stop the bans.
