I can’t believe I’m about to say this, friend, but we are officially one year out from the 2022 midterm elections.

Isn’t that crazy? It feels like 2020 was only yesterday!

But in reality, we’re exactly one year away from Election Day -- and I can’t stress enough how critical it is that we start doing everything within our power now to plan ahead for the future.

We already know Republican Eric Esshaki, my opponent from 2020, is running again -- and there may be others.

Let’s also not forget to mention the amount of money being raised to defeat us. Esshaki’s team has claimed to raise over $100,000 in the first 24 hours of announcing his candidacy. National Republicans aren’t slowing down on the attack ads against me, either.

We have the chance to make history and keep doing right by Michigan’s families if we win again in 2022. But it’s going to take all of us coming together until then to show the public and the Republicans looking to flip MI-11 red that our grassroots team is strong enough to win.
