John,
In exactly one year, the Election Day polls will be open in Minnesota.
In a midterm election that promises to be difficult for Democrats, our race will be one of the toughest. After Democrats lost Virginia, the Republican Governors Association quickly identified us as a top target, and we’re already facing daily attacks from several right-wing opponents.
We have a lot of work to do, but I know Minnesotans understand the stakes of this election – from defending our democracy to safeguarding reproductive rights to tackling climate change and so much more.
Since Lt. Governor Flanagan and I announced our re-election campaign, thousands of Minnesotans have stepped up to help us keep Minnesota on the path to coming back stronger than ever before and hold the line against a Republican Party that wants to drag us backward.
None of this work is possible without you, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your support. This campaign has never failed to rise and meet a challenge, and I’m counting on your help again today.
We still haven’t fully funded the early organizing expansion launching this week in response to the results in Virginia – according to my campaign team, we still have $6,812 to raise by midnight to make up the difference.
John, with exactly one year to go to Election Day 2022, will you pitch in right now to help us climb back and hit this target? Anything you can spare today would be a huge help.
Thank you,
Tim Walz
