We’re going to knock on every single door it takes to win this election, and we’re getting started early.

But there’s one critical thing we need to facilitate that: a voter database and voter contact tool. That will let us know 1) who to canvass and 2) where to canvass them.

That’s why I’m writing you today. In our 2020 campaign, the WA Democratic Party shut us out of using their tool, so we paid for another tool: it was $6,800. It’ll cost the same for this campaign, too.

$6,800 is a bargain when compared to another tool we were looking at: $2,000/month! But it’s still a lot of money, and we need to pay it in full and upfront this upcoming week.

The reason we’re shooting for Saturday is that we want to have everything in the tool set up to hit the ground running in January, and setup will take awhile, especially with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up.

P.S. We’re not going to defeat the GOP in 2022 with empty promises. I’ve spent my entire life fighting for progressive values: as a housing rights organizer, a commissioner on the Tacoma Commission on Disabilities, and a court-appointed special advocate for kids in foster care.
