“HuffPost: "Ohio Introduces An Even More Extreme Texas-Style Abortion Ban”

Ohio lawmakers just introduced an abortion ban that goes several steps further than Texas’s — criminalizing abortion at any stage of a pregnancy.

This is horrific and a confirmation of what we already know: Abortion rights are not safe in the United States, John.

Val knows firsthand what’s at stake — she spent years practicing medicine and has sat with patients making difficult decisions about their pregnancies. She’s ready to go to the Senate to codify Roe v. Wade into law and fight to expand abortion access, but first, she needs your help to defeat her anti-abortion opponents in this race.

Please chip in any amount to make sure Val can fight for abortion rights in the U.S. Senate:

In the coming weeks, the Supreme Court is hearing a case out of Mississippi that could overturn Roe v. Wade for good and open up the floodgates to anti-abortion legislation and bans in states across the country — bans like the one in Ohio that would outright ban abortion in the state.

This is not a wait-and-see moment — it’s time for action. We need to codify Roe v. Wade, expand access to contraception and all reproductive care, and fight back against any attempts to undermine reproductive freedom.

We’re counting on this grassroots team to help build a campaign that can fight back against this all out attack on abortion rights.

Will you chip in any amount to send Val, a champion for abortion rights, to the U.S. Senate?
