We thought we might see the next round of proposed maps come out of the Georgia state legislature this week as they gaveled in for their special redistricting session. But, we’re guessing they got distracted by the 2021 elections, the Braves World Series win, and the parade in Atlanta on Friday.

When the draft maps are released any day now, we have to be prepared for anything. Republicans have already said that Lucy is their top target.

We’ve got to be ready for any scenario this month, and our grassroots fundraising efforts need to ramp up, based on our latest numbers. John, can you help by pitching in a donation of any amount right now? [[link removed]]

In neighboring North Carolina, and in Wisconsin, Ohio, and Texas already, we’ve seen GOP state legislatures redraw the maps to draw a disproportionate amount of House Districts that favor their own party. As you know, Georgia is likely to be next on that list in the coming weeks.

That’s why we’re building a campaign that’s ready for any outcome here to keep Lucy in Congress, doing the work she’s leading on common-sense gun safety and so many other issues.
