On December 1, we're headed to the U.S. Supreme Court to defend the core holding of Roe v. Wade in our case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. In this case, we're challenge Mississippi's ban on abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

Since the landmark 1973 decision in Roe, the Court has repeatedly reaffirmed that every person has the right to decide whether to continue a pre-viability pregnancy. After decades of attempts, anti-abortion lawmakers in the U.S. have finally succeeded in their efforts to get a request as radical as Mississippi's before the Supreme Court.

We have seen what happens when abortion access is cut off and what is at stake in Jackson Women's Health. In September, Texas implemented an extreme abortion ban that has eliminated most abortion access in the state, forcing people to travel long distances or carry their pregnancies to term against their will. Earlier this week, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in our case challenging this extreme ban.
