Now that we're nearly one year out from Election Day 2022, I wanted to reach out to this team to talk about the stakes in Mikie’s race for re-election.

I was proud to support Mikie in 2018 and again in 2020 -- and so were New Jersey voters. In 2018, she flipped New Jersey’s 11th for the first time in more than 30 years, capped by the biggest swing from red to blue in the country. 

But this election is going to be tougher -- And now, Mikie is running for re-election again in one of the most competitive races in the country.

Mikie needs to go into 2022 in the strongest possible position to win on Election Day -- and that means having the resources to run a powerful campaign that can reach as many voters as possible. Will you chip in toward her campaign before the end of the day?

Mikie is a champion for New Jersey priorities in the House. She’s fighting for once-in-a-generation investments in affordable childcare for families and critically important infrastructure projects like the Gateway Tunnel.

But Mikie now has  six opponents , and the National GOP even made her one of  only 10 redistricting targets .

The partisan gerrymandering and the hundreds of voter suppression laws we’re seeing across the country make me concerned about our elections and democracy. But they also make me that much more determined to support leaders like Mikie who will always uphold her duty to the Constitution and to New Jerseyans.

With only five seats standing between Washington Republicans and control of the House, Mikie’s race is going to be a battleground. The best way to win tough elections like this one is by mobilizing a strong grassroots team -- and that’s why I’m personally asking for your help.
