John, I know you don’t normally hear from a candidate’s mom, but I promised my son, Tony, I’d lend him a hand today. Tony’s fighting to flip this important seat blue for Democrats, but right now he’s coming up $6,723 short of his End-of-Week Goal. It’ll be tough for him to run a winning campaign if he has to make budget cuts.

So I'm personally asking: If you support Tony, will you chip in $10 now?

John, even though I’m Tony’s mom, I’m only being *a little* biased when I say:

Tony is our best shot at winning this critical race for hardworking families like ours.

Now let me tell you why:

My husband Antonio and I immigrated here from Peru to give Tony and his brothers a better life.

For most of Tony’s young life we lived in poverty, but that didn’t stop him from defying the odds.

Tony worked hard to make it to college and become a teacher to support kids like him.

But when he saw families like ours were still getting left behind, Tony knew he had to do more.

When he told us he was running for the state Legislature, we were a little worried.

In Peru, only the elite ran for office and Tony was facing a tough race.

But he defied the odds again and won.

I know unseating Republican Congressman Don Bacon won’t be easy -- but I know Tony’s the right person for the job. For him to defy the odds again, he has to be able to fund a winning campaign. Please chip in $10 to help him pull it off. >>

When Tony won, I saw that everyday folks had a chance with a fighter like him in their corner.

When local businesses and families struggled due to the pandemic, Tony fought to secure COVID relief funding.

While Don Bacon voted against it in Congress.

When property taxes soared, Tony voted to lower them.

While Don Bacon favored tax cuts for billionaires and corporations.

And when Tony’s dad passed away from COVID-19, Tony demanded safer working conditions for essential workers, just like his dad.

As a State Senator, Tony has never forgotten where he came from -- and I know he’ll do the same in Congress. But he can’t do it alone. Don Bacon already has a $260,000 lead over Tony. Hitting his $6,723 End-of-Week Goal is so important to keep up with Bacon and keep his campaign running at full speed.

I’m personally asking, one last time:
John, if you believe in Tony like I do, can I count on your $10?
