Pennsylvania was a lot closer than that. 😳
Tuesday’s elections – especially losing the Governor’s race in Virginia – make it clear that 2022 could be a challenging year for Democrats. And out of all the races in the country, John’s has a chance to be the closest and most competitive — with nothing short of control of the Senate on the line.
It will be an uphill battle and Tuesday’s results prove that to win Pennsylvania in 2022, we’re gonna have our work cut out for us. That’s why support for our grassroots campaign has never been more important.
We need to build a coalition of Pennsylvanians from all corners of our commonwealth – urban, suburban, AND rural.
When John and Governor Tom Wolf ran for office in 2018, they won 17 counties including some smaller ones where some Democrats wouldn’t even bother to campaign. And as Lieutenant Governor, John continued to visit all 67 counties, listening to people and helping Pennsylvanians from all walks of life.
That’s exactly how we’re going to flip this Senate seat: By talking to voters in every last county, with a vision for making Pennsylvania work for ALL of us.
So if you’re feeling discouraged, we get it. But there’s something you can do about it — something we MUST do about it.
Because losing the governorship in Virginia isn’t great, but losing control of the Senate would be catastrophic:
