Dear Jack,
With Westminster bogged down in yet another scandal and with my by-election campaign in Bexley now starting to move at a real pace, I’m delighted to confirm that Reform UK will also be standing in the imminent by-election in North Shropshire, where we have an incredible candidate to get behind.
Our very own Kirsty Walmsley is no stranger to the constituency. She was born there, schooled there, got married there and has had two beautiful children there. Not only that, but Kirsty helped to run a popular family business in the constituency, started her own business there and was once a cabinet member on the local Borough Council. You could say that Kirsty IS North Shropshire and is exactly the right candidate to take on a Westminster elite who have once again betrayed the trust placed in them by local voters.
Given that the last MP resigned in the midst of a sleaze scandal, a candidate like Kirsty, whose integrity and moral standards are beyond reproach, is exactly what voters in North Shropshire need to help restore their faith in our democracy. Kirsty really does want to change politics for good and with your help she can.
I’m asking you to join me in kicking off our Shropshire campaign with a bang this Tuesday when I will be visiting Oswestry with the Reform UK bus to officially launch Kirsty as our candidate.
We will be meeting at 1:30pm at Festival Street Car Park, Smithfield Street, Oswestry, Shropshire, SY11 2EG.
There will be a chance to have a drive around on the bus and to wish Kirsty well as she embarks upon another hugely important by-election for our party and our country.
I also want to say a huge thank you for the real generosity of so many of you who have donated an incredible amount to help support our campaign in Bexley. Without your support, we simply would not be able to represent you, or the forgotten majority in by-elections like we do. These elections give us the coverage that we need to get real traction in the minds of the public, and our rising poll ratings prove that it’s working.
