This is the biggest investment in our nation's infrastructure in years -- and it will put millions of Americans to work.

This is historic -- and we're not going to stop here. This once-in-a-generation win is only possible because we have a Democratic majority in the House and Senate. If we want to keep making progress like this, we must defend and expand our majority next year.

This is a huge deal. Here's just some of what President Biden is about to sign into law:

• $89 billion for public transit -- the largest investment in public transit ever
• Clean water and elimination of lead pipes
• High-speed Internet access
• National network of electric vehicle chargers
• $65 billion to upgrade our power grid with clean energy
• Good-paying union jobs
• Infrastructure that is more resilient to the impacts of climate change
• The largest federal investment in passenger rail since the creation of Amtrak (this one is a big deal to me as a New Yorker.)

When Democrats won back the majority in the Senate, we promised that we'd deliver for the American people. That's what we've done and that's what we're going to continue to do.
