BREAKING: “Ohio lawmakers introduce abortion bill that goes further than Texas law”
The GOP-controlled Ohio Assembly introduced an anti-choice bill that goes even further than the Texas ban, which is considered the most extreme anti-choice law in the country.
The Ohio legislation calls for a complete and total abortion ban without exceptions, and like the Texas law, it turns neighbors against each other, encouraging private citizens to sue someone they think helped another person access critical reproductive care for a $10,000 bounty.
These anti-choice laws are an attack on health care rights and women’s constitutionally protected reproductive rights. Our best line of defense is electing pro-choice leaders who are committed to defending access to reproductive health care, and as someone who has taken a stand on this issue before, I’m counting on your continued engagement in this fight. Will you chip in to strengthen our grassroots organization for the electoral battles ahead?

The Supreme Court is hearing a case that debates the Texas law, the outcome of which could overturn Roe v. Wade in its entirety and block access to reproductive health care across the country.
Health care decisions should be made between a patient and their doctor -- not by anti-choice politicians.
I know you feel as passionately about this as I do, so I hope you will take action by contributing to our grassroots organization so we can support pro-choice candidates in Ohio and across the country.
With gratitude,
Sherrod
