There's never been more momentum in Washington D.C. and across the country
for transformational change.

The Build Back Better Act was designed to help working people across the
nation, with programs like universal pre-k, 12 weeks of paid family and
medical leave, and the expansion of Medicare to include hearing, dental,
and vision.

Democracy for America is excited to be supporting all parts of this
important legislation, and we're going to fight every step of the way to
make sure that it gets passed.

But these investments aren't just a policy position to argue over... They
are about changing -- and saving -- people's lives. That's why Democracy
for America is collecting the stories of DFA members showing why we're in
this fight.

Every day, people living in this country go without the healthcare,
childcare, or prescription drugs they need because of financial concerns.

People are forced to choose between filling their prescriptions or sending
their children to preschool.

All of us likely know someone who has been impacted by a lack of social
infrastructure.

As we push this legislation forward, we would like to share these stories
with candidates, party officials, and the media to build support. (With
your permission, of course.)

It's easy to get caught up in the back-and-forth over this fight, so we
need to remind our elected leaders, the press, and the public that there
are lives hanging in the balance here.
