We really did it -- we finally passed the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. I was so proud to cast my vote for this historic piece of legislation.

This key part of President Joe Biden’s agenda will go a long way towards rebuilding our roads and bridges, all while investing in clean drinking water, broadband access, and more. We even got 13 Republicans to cross the aisle to help get this done.

Passing this legislation wouldn’t have been possible without our Democratic House majority. Our next big challenge is passing the Build Back Better Act, which just cleared the first procedural hurdle late last night.

In this bill, I'm fighting for a once-in-a-lifetime investment to address the root causes of climate change, expand healthcare coverage, and support working families.

This just goes to show why we can’t let Republicans take back control of the House. But thanks to redistricting, the stakes just got a lot higher for Democrats trying to hold their seats -- including me.
