I have a general principle when it comes to political predictions: don’t believe the pundits. 

I hear political talking heads in Washington say that Ohio is likely to vote Republican in the 2022 Senate race. But I know they’re wrong. They don’t know our state -- but we do. I’ve won not one, but three Senate races here.

Tim’s front-runner GOP opponent, Josh Mandel, tried and failed twice to unseat me. This team has what it takes to beat him a third time around, but the polls are close. Josh is the only Republican currently beating Tim in the polls.

Now look, Tim and I have been campaigning on the ground all across Ohio these past few weeks. And we’ve seen the enthusiasm to elect Tim and give Ohio the most pro-worker delegation in the country.

But to overcome Josh’s attacks and the GOP’s mountains of cash, we’ll need to match the grassroots operation we had in 2018. That’s why I’m personally reaching out to you today:

Can I count on you to chip in to Tim’s campaign right now to give Ohio the strongest pro-worker Senators in the nation? This is 2022’s most important race.

I won my competitive race thanks to grassroots supporters like you stepping up in critical times like these. As Tim says, never bet against Ohio.
