Folks, methane emissions are one of the biggest drivers of the climate crisis — that’s why it’s such a big deal that world leaders at the COP26 climate summit just pledged to drastically reduce methane emissions by 2030.

The EPA also announced that the United States is doing its part to cut methane emissions from oil and gas operations. This is on top of Martin’s work in the Senate a few months back to reverse Trump-era attacks on methane regulations.

We’ve made incredible strides in tackling climate change. But continuing our work to cut methane emissions and enact stronger environmental protections is crucial to preserving our planet for future generations, so we can’t stop here.
