Last night, the U.S. House voted to pass a historic, bipartisan $1.2 trillion infrastructure package — and my opponent, Rep. Scott Franklin, was an unsurprising-but-nevertheless-extremely-disappointing ‘NO’ vote.

Let’s be crystal clear: Franklin just voted against fixing our roads and bridges, against giving us better broadband internet, against improving rail travel and public transit, against mitigating climate change, and against creating jobs.

We sent Franklin to Congress to fight for us — not to cater to corporations and the extreme right while Florida families struggle to pay the bills with the ocean creeping closer and closer to their front doors every day.
