Hi folks, I have some great news to share: After many months of deliberation and compromise, my House colleagues and I have finally passed President Joe Biden’s infrastructure package that will help America build back better.

This once-in-a-lifetime investment in our nation’s infrastructure will not only help us rebuild our roads and bridges, but it will also benefit so many of our residents and small businesses here in MI-11.

From expanding high-speed broadband access, replacing lead pipes and investing in clean drinking water, fixing our roads, and so much more, I’m proud to have helped get it done and I look forward to watching its implementation change lives in Michigan.

Our next big challenge is passing the Build Back Better Act, which just cleared the first procedural hurdle late last night. I look forward to voting on this historic legislation to address the root causes of climate change, expand healthcare coverage, and support working families.

I’ve been hard at work doing the job Michiganders elected me to do in Congress -- but with just over a year away from our re-election campaign, the stakes have never been higher. My 2020 opponent, who I defeated by 2.4 points, announced he’s running again plus national Republicans are keeping up with their attacks.
