Team,

The scores for the Rhode Island Comprehensive Assessment System were released last week, and Rhode Island students scored significantly lower on math and reading than our neighbors in Massachusetts.

Rhode Island's educational outcomes already lag behind the rest of our region, and the latest news is another indication that we need to act now.

We absolutely have to do better. Our students are our future, and as governor, I will fight to ensure every student has the resources they need to succeed. That's why I recently released my education plan, which calls for using American Rescue Plan Act funds to help students through after school programs, summer programs, internship opportunities and tutoring.

Ensuring every Rhode Islander has the tools to succeed starts with historic investments in education. Will you add your name to show support for my Education & Workforce Plan for Rhode Island?

Turning our education system around is going to take bold action to make our education and training programs competitive. It's past time to invest in early childhood programming, improve K-12 schools, and make college and workforce training more affordable and accessible across the state now.

If I'm elected governor, I will use every resource at my disposal to get Rhode Island's education system back on track. Add your name now to support my Education & Workforce Plan for a stronger Rhode Island.

Thank you,

Seth
