Candace and our establishment opponents want to protect billionaires.
John,
In case you missed it, Morgan tweeted out some statistics about the amount of folks in poverty and billionaires in West Virginia — where Joe Manchin is from:

Please explain to me why Joe Manchin is concerned about a billionaire tax?

And then Candace Owens decided to weigh in…

You should begin by taking a historical look into how socialist policies yield communist states. I’d then suggest researching why all the wealthy flee (because they can) and who’s left impoverished and starving in the newly communist state. Hint: it ain’t billionaires.

Here's another hint Candace. You're full of shit.

Shaking our heads. 🙄
Taxing the uber rich is the minimum that we should be doing, John. It’s easy for folks like Candace Owens, Joe Manchin, and Kyrsten Sinema to say that taxing billionaires is useless or wrong.
However in places like Ohio, the median yearly income is $30,171. Everyday working people shouldn’t be paying more in taxes than BILLIONAIRES — full stop.
Please, if you’re able, will you donate $5 or anything you can to our progressive campaign today? Morgan will fight for everyday Ohioans in the Senate and won’t hesitate to tax the rich.
Contribute $5
Our campaign is unapologetically grassroots. We believe that a $15 minimum wage is the floor, not the ceiling for large corporations. We believe that in a country where billionaires are engaging in their own space race, the LEAST we can do is tax them at the proper rate.
Candace Owens, Joe Manchin, and Kyrsten Sinema are more similar than they might appear. Although they’re in different parties, they have the same desire to uphold our country’s broken systems and protect the uber rich.
That doesn’t fly with us, John. Could you donate to our campaign today, so Morgan can proudly vote YES on progressive legislation including a billionaire tax?
Together,
Team Morganize
