Team,
Last year, Donald Trump’s hand-picked Postmaster General Louis DeJoy wreaked havoc on the USPS. Mail slowdowns became the norm, postal workers were laid off, and mail sorting machines were dismantled just as a record number of Americans sent in their ballots for the 2020 election.
Fast forward to today, and Louis DeJoy is still sabotaging our mail. In fact, the average time for mail to be delivered is now five days — up from an average of 3 days before DeJoy took office.
The USPS has been delivering the mail on-time, rain or shine, for decades. If Postmaster DeJoy cannot properly run our USPS, then he should get out of the way so we can bring in someone who can! Do you agree?
The Post Office is a public good funded by our tax dollars to benefit all Americans. It’s what veterans rely on to get information about their health benefits, what seniors use to have medications sent to their doors, and what working class families count on to receive their paychecks on time.
Postmaster General DeJoy’s leadership at the USPS is putting all of this at risk — and his 10 year reorganization plan of the USPS could make Americans pay a higher cost for a worse service.
Are one of the millions of Americans concerned about what’s happening at the USPS under Louis DeJoy? Let us know now:
Thank you,
