John -- I was so proud to vote for President Joe Biden’s Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act yesterday!

This once-in-a-generation investment will create good-paying, union jobs and put Virginians to work fixing our roads and bridges, building clean water infrastructure, making high-speed broadband available to everyone, and creating a renewable energy economy to take on the climate crisis. But we are just getting started.

Our next big challenge is passing the Build Back Better Act, which just cleared the first procedural hurdle late last night. It is the most sweeping, comprehensive piece of legislation since President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal, and your support won us the majorities to make this happen.

If we want to continue passing groundbreaking legislation, we need to hold our House majority. My seat is a top target for national Republicans -- will you rush a $25 donation today to help me keep VA-02 blue?

Today let’s take a moment to celebrate this win and what it means for the American people. But tomorrow, let’s get back to work defending our Democratic House majority and all the hard-fought progress we’ve won.
