Dear ,

The elections on Tuesday across the country were a solid repudiation of the far-left's agenda. In Virginia, the Democrats' candidate, Terry McAuliffe, had campaigned with the president of the American Federation of Teachers union, and had even told voters that parents had no role to play in the selection of school curriculum. Voters wisely chose Glenn Youngkin, whose campaign focused on building back the economy, stopping the Biden socialist agenda, and empowering parents to play a vital role in their children's education.

Elsewhere, across the nation, progressives suffered humiliating defeats, as Seattle rejected a "defund the police" mayoral candidate, and Minneapolis rejected a ballot initiative to eliminate the police department.

These wins show that Americans -- even in some of the deepest blue areas of the country -- remain committed to law and order and to the commonsense and pro-growth economic policies that have made America great throughout our nation's history.

Chairman's Corner

Chairman Matt Schlapp had op-eds published this week by Fox News and The Oklahoman.

Fox News: The woke political movement was humiliated on Election Day by American parents, first-responder supporters and patriotic voters who are exhausted from the ubiquitous charge that everyone and everything in America is racist. Continue reading the op-ed here.

The Oklahoman: Julius Jones has been on death row for nearly two decades. He was convicted of killing someone during the course of a carjacking. Jones has long maintained his innocence, and there are real questions about his conviction. Click here to continue reading.
