Friend,
What a terrific week for Republicans here in New Hampshire, and across the country. For those who missed it, this past Tuesday was Election Day, and the results were phenomenal!
We had a multitude of winning elections here in the Granite State on Tuesday! Please join me in congratulating the following candidates (but not exclusive to):
Rochester Mayor-Elect, Paul Callaghan Rochester City Councilor, Jim Gray (re-elected) Keene Mayor, George Hansel (re-elected)
Manchester School Committeeman, Carlos Gonzalez (re-elected) Manchester Alderman, Sebastian Sharonov (re-elected) Manchester Alderman, Ed Sapienza (re-elected) Manchester Alderman-at-large, Joe Kelly Levasseur (re-elected) Laconia City Council, Henry Lipman Concord City Councilor, Keith Nyham (re-elected)
I would also like to wish our Governor Chris Sununu a very happy birthday! The past few years have been a whirlwind of new obstacles for our state to take on, and I appreciate Governor Sununu’s willingness to address these hurdles and put Granite Staters at the forefront of his policy initiatives.
Finally, I want to encourage everyone to consider running for local office. Our state party has great resources in addition to experienced staff members who can assist you in exploring campaign options. The election successes we just witnessed are only the beginning of big wins for NH Republicans, so if you have ever thought about getting involved locally, now is a great time to do so. Republican Spotlight Our Newly Elected NH Republicans |
|
|
Today's Republican Spotlight shines on all of our newly elected republican officials!
Across New Hampshire, Granite Staters stepped up to serve their local communities to protect against the damaging agenda of radical, left-wing Democrats.
We appreciate the time, financial support, and personal sacrifice these candidates and fellow volunteers made to increase Republican Leadership for NH residents - it's no small feat!

Thank you to everyone who made our first ever NH Republican Women’s Leadership Conference & Retreat a massive success! This is the first time New Hampshire has held an event of this size entirely dedicated to GOP women. NHFRW is operating at our highest capacity ever, producing consistent results for our members and raising more money than we have in years past which we are utilizing strategically to spread our message and build our bench of Republican women! We'd like to thank Jay Lucas & Karen Ballou Lucas for hosting our Opening Night Welcome Party in Portsmouth, NH featuring US Senator Kelly Ayotte, Executive Councillor Janet Stevens & our Lilac Society Sponsors: Corky Messner & the NH Advantage PAC and Gail Huff Brown. We'd also like to thank NHGOP Vice Chair Pamela Tucker for hosting our Cocktails & Capitalism Closing Reception in Rye Beach, NH featuring Karoline Leavitt, Gail Huff Brown, Matt Mowers, Tim Baxter and Julian Acciard! During our conference, we heard from NHFRW President Elizabeth Girard, Governor Chris Sununu, Speaker Pro Tempore Rep Kim Rice, RNC National Committeewoman Juliana Bergeron, RNC Director of Women's Engagement Vanessa Faura and Speaker Linda Upmeyer from the Iowa GOP - among others! We received publicity from the National Federation of Republican Women, WMUR, Governor Chris Sununu and so many of you! We are so appreciative of all the support within our organization! Congratulations to NHFRW President Elizabeth Girard on being reelected unanimously for a second term as the youngest State President nationwide and the 2022-2023 Executive Officers: Rep Deb Hobson (1st VP), Hon. Jane Johnson (2nd VP), Nicole Martin (3rd VP), Donni Hodgkins (4th VP), Hon. Linda Rea Camarota (Secretary), Danielle Rieger (Assistant Secretary), Virginia Drye (Communications Director), Jessica Kallipolites (Treasurer), Elizabeth Ann Moreau (Assistant Treasurer), Christine Peters (Director), Rep. Jeanine Notter (Director) and Hon. Jane Lane (Director). We are currently building our Advisory Board of appointed chairs for 2022-2023! The New Hampshire Federation of College Republicans is the officially chartered state organization for College Republicans all over the state of New Hampshire. With chapters at Saint Anselm College, Plymouth State, UNH, SNHU, Dartmouth, Franklin Pierce, and Keene State, the NHFCR has representation for a wide swath of the state. Executive board members include Chairman Ben Mickens, Executive Director Joseph LaCreta, Vice-Chair for CD1 Nate Twarog, Vice-Chair for CD2 John Michitson, Treasurer Kevin Chrisom, and Secretary Jessica Long. Our chapters are driven to keep college students engaged with conservative politics by bringing speakers to campus, presenting students with conservative internship opportunities in the state, and doing grassroots campaigning. The Federation board looks forward to helping get our chapters to a post-COVID reality while we work to keep Republican leadership in Concord as we push for Republican leadership in DC.
