There are some bright spots for Democrats coming out of Tuesday’s elections but the reality is that we came up short.

That’s why I’m asking you for $7 today to help us win in Maryland. To be blunt, I don’t want to wake up on November 9, 2022 wishing we could’ve invested more to elect Tom. We set an emergency $12,000 goal to jumpstart our November fundraising, and our deadline is Sunday at midnight. Will you please chip in?

I know $7 may not seem like it makes a difference in big state-wide races like this, but campaigns like Tom’s -- and like Terry’s, and Phil’s -- need grassroots donations to keep ads on the air, run polls to refine our strategy, and get organizers talking to voters in every corner of the state. When we come up even $7 short of our goals, it means tough decisions about where to make detrimental budget cuts.

I’ve experienced enough wins and losses to know that early investment wins races. Our opportunity to make a difference doesn’t start in January -- it starts right now.
