We're not gonna sugar-coat this — it's been a rough week for Democrats.

In 2020, President Biden won Virginia by 10 points. This week, Democrat Terry McAuliffe lost the Virginia governor's race by over 2 points. It's a major setback, but what concerns me is that this could be only the beginning.

The extremist wing of the GOP is using racist dog whistles, fanning the flames of a culture war, and paying for vicious lies to cultivate a false narrative of Democrats. And it's working.

It’ll keep working unless we do something about it.

Look, we're profoundly upset that a Trump-curious liar just won the race for governor.
