During this year’s election, we saw turnout struggle to keep up with years prior. And leading up to the election, the pace of turnout was slow.

To make matters worse, Republicans are returning their ballots at a higher rate than Democrats, which could give them an edge on races up and down the ballot.

If we’re going to match the enthusiasm that Republicans have this year, then we need to create the infrastructure now that can reach, mobilize, and energize Colorado Democrats. If we wait to build that momentum, it will be too late.
