We’re hard at work on our plan to win nationwide in 2020, but don’t think
we’ve forgotten -- there are elections happening a week from today. So we
want to give you a quick (we promise!) update on how we’re engaging to win
this Election Day.
Whether in state-level elections in places like Virginia, or special
elections in Texas, our movement has an opportunity next week to make a
real impact and kickstart the change we want to see next year.
These elections are a key moment for us to build the strength of our
movement, and we’re doing the work to make sure we win -- but we need your

Our movement is led by local groups who do the work to make real change in
their communities. So our 2019 strategy is all about supporting those
groups and giving them the tools they need to win. With our communications
and event tools and our tactical training, Indivisible groups are ready to
elect progressive leaders at the local, state, and federal level.
And we’re helping groups engage even more supporters. We’re sending
thousands of text messages to get out the vote in key districts, and our
organizers on the ground are working directly with local groups to craft
winning strategies that make sense for their races. These efforts are a
crucial way that our movement can have a big impact this year.
The state and federal elections that are happening next week are just the
beginning -- we know we need to win big across the country in 2020 in
order to build a better democracy in the post-Trump era.
But this year’s races will play a key role in transforming the national
political landscape. Not only does state-level policymaking have a huge
impact on people’s lives, but increasing engagement in these elections
will help us build the movement that will win in 2020.
Our election strategy helped build the Blue Wave in 2018, and we have a
