I hate to bring bad news, friend, but right now I'm drastically short of my midnight fundraising goal – and with Senate control on the line, this could be devastating for Democrats everywhere. 

I just checked today's records, and this is what I'm seeing from you:

When we work together, friend, this grassroots movement is incredibly strong. POLITICO just reported that I have "an army of small donors." We're building a movement so powerful that CNN says Marco Rubio is one of the most vulnerable senators up for reelection. 

The problem is, I'm still 2 points behind in the polls while national Republicans have already poured $10 million into Florida to keep Democrats like me from winning ever again – and Rubio is spewing insulting attacks that smear my reputation and deceive voters. 

Now that I'm falling short of my midnight goal, I'm afraid I won't be able to reach enough voters to set the record straight and gain the ground I need to win. That's why I need everyone reading this email to donate right now to help me meet my goal, fight back against Rubio's attacks and flip Florida blue.
