We decided for the first time ever to get involved in a governor’s race because of the historic opportunity to reverse course on damaging, anti-American policies in Virginia. In the closing weeks of the Virginia gubernatorial race, Restoration PAC spent more than $2 million, including $1.75 million on the TV ad “Too Dangerous” criticizing Terry McAuliffe’s record on crime. The rest of the money was spent on digital advertising and voter turnout efforts.

Florida governor Ron DeSantis blasted the Biden administration over reports that it is considering issuing $450,000 payments to illegal immigrants who were separated from their families at the southern border under the Trump administration for a total payout that could cost the government more than $1 billion.

OSHA released the rule Thursday, weeks after President Biden announced his plans asking the agency to craft one. The rule requires employers with over 100 employees to “maintain a roster of each employee’s vaccination status” and enforce weekly testing requirements for those who refuse to get the vaccine. The rule, which goes into effect January 4, involves “planned inspections” and heavy fines of $14,000 per violation at the start.
