As you know, the fight for control of the House of Representatives and the Senate in 2022 has already begun. Here in Virginia, Democrats just lost crucial statewide contests, setting the stage for a vigorous fight for our majority next year. The Virginia races were plagued with well-funded often anonymous special interests pushing disinformation, dividing voters, and encouraging extremism.

That's why I'm asking you to sign the petition: tell Congress to take on Dark Money!

Gerry was in Congress when the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United opened the way for billions of dollars on anonymous, unaccountable attack ads. Since that wretched decision he's been pushing for legislation to reverse that decision and end the flow of anonymous, unlimited, outside money into our political system. Congress needs to take action and confront Dark Money once and for all!

It is not new news that corporate, dark money plays an outsized role in our democracy. Thanks to Citizens United, we've now been living with that reality for more than ten years - that's why I'm asking you to join Gerry and saying enough is enough! Congress needs to take bold action to defend the voice of the people from the flood of dark money.
